About Law Firm Mentor

Law Firm Mentor (LFM) helps small and mid-sized law firms build the systems, people, and market position they need to grow predictably and profitably. Through hands-on advisory engagements, proprietary growth frameworks, and a network of subject-matter specialists, LFM partners directly with managing partners and firm leadership to turn ambition into measurable, sustained growth.

Role Summary

At Law Firm Mentor, we advise and coach law firms, and our client community is at the heart of how we deliver value. We’re looking for a Community & Client Engagement Manager to own the full lifecycle of our client community experience — from the weekly webinar to the annual retreat, and everything happening in between on our online platform and social channels.

This role sits at the intersection of operations and marketing. You’ll be equal parts event producer, community builder, social media strategist, and client experience advocate. Your job is twofold: keep Law Firm Mentor’s own community and social presence thriving, and help our law firm clients build strong social media presences for their own firms — whether they’re logging into our Mighty Networks community, joining a virtual workshop, attending an in-person retreat, or working with you to level up their firm’s online visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Production

  • Own the community events calendar end to end: weekly webinars, monthly workshops, quarterly virtual gatherings, and yearly in-person and remote retreats
  • Manage all event logistics — scheduling, speaker coordination, registration, run-of-show, tech setup, venue sourcing and vendor management for in-person events, and post-event follow-up
  • Produce and host live virtual events, ensuring a polished, professional experience
  • Track event budgets and negotiate with venues, caterers, and vendors for retreats
  • Coordinate with coaches, advisors, and guest speakers on content and materials

Community Management (Mighty Networks)

  • Serve as the day-to-day manager of our Community platform on Mighty Networks — our hub for client engagement and coaching
  • Drive daily engagement: seed discussions, welcome new members, highlight member wins, and moderate conversations
  • Onboard new clients into the community and ensure they know how to get value from it quickly
  • Organize content, spaces, courses, and resources within the platform so members can easily find what they need
  • Monitor engagement metrics (active members, participation rates, event attendance) and report on community health

Marketing & Event Promotion

  • Promote company events across email, the Community platform, and social channels to drive registration and maximize attendance
  • Actively engage our client network to gather topics of interest, shape event programming around what members actually want, and collect post-event feedback through surveys and follow-up conversations
  • Develop and manage partnerships with third-party providers — guest experts, industry vendors, legal tech companies, and complementary service providers — to bolster event content and bring fresh perspectives to our community
  • Build a repeatable event marketing playbook: promotional timelines, registration campaigns, reminder sequences, and post-event recap content
  • Repurpose event content into ongoing marketing assets — webinar replays, highlight clips, blog recaps, and resource libraries within the Community
  • Capture and develop client success stories, testimonials, and case studies surfaced through community engagement and events
  • Track event marketing performance (registration rates, attendance rates, feedback scores) and continuously refine promotion strategies
  • Support co-marketing opportunities with partners, such as joint webinars or sponsored retreat sessions, that add value for clients and create new business relationships

Social Media Management & Client Consulting

  • Own Law Firm Mentor’s social media presence end to end — content calendar, creation, scheduling, publishing, and daily engagement across our channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others as appropriate)
  • Create and curate social content that amplifies our events, community wins, client success stories, and thought leadership from our coaches and advisors
  • Serve as a social media consultant to our law firm clients, advising them on strategy, content, branding, and platform selection to build a strong social media presence for their own firms
  • Develop client-facing social media resources — trainings, workshops, playbooks, content templates, and posting frameworks — delivered through the Community platform and live eventsConduct social media audits and one-on-one or group coaching sessions to help clients improve their firms’ online visibility and lead generation
  • Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices — including attorney advertising and bar compliance considerations relevant to law firm marketing
  • Track and report on social media performance for Law Firm Mentor’s channels, and provide clients with simple measurement frameworks to gauge their own progress

Client Engagement & Experience

  • Act as a connective thread between our clients and our internal team — surfacing client questions, feedback, and themes to our advisors and leadership
  • Develop and execute engagement campaigns (challenges, spotlights, milestone celebrations) that keep members active between events
  • Partner with marketing on community communications: newsletters, announcements, and recaps
  • Partner with operations to ensure smooth handoffs between sales, onboarding, coaching, and community touchpoints
  • Identify at-risk or disengaged clients and coordinate re-engagement efforts

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in community management, client success, event planning, or a related role (membership organizations, coaching/consulting businesses, or professional services a plus)
  • Hands-on experience managing an online community platform — Mighty Networks experience strongly preferred (Circle, Skool, or similar acceptable)
  • Proven track record producing both virtual events (webinars, workshops) and in-person events (conferences, retreats)
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills — you can juggle a weekly webinar, a quarterly summit, and daily community activity without dropping balls
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable being a visible, on-camera presence with clients
  • A hospitality mindset: you genuinely enjoy making people feel welcomed, seen, and supported
  • Experience promoting events and driving attendance through email marketing, social media, or community channels
  • Demonstrated experience managing brand social media accounts (organic content strategy, publishing, and analytics) — experience advising or coaching others on social media is a strong plus
  • Comfort building relationships with external partners, vendors, and guest speakers
  • Comfort with data — you track what’s working, report on it, and adjust
  • Familiarity with the legal industry or professional services clients is a plus, not a requirement

Preferred / A Plus

  • Experience supporting a coaching or advisory business
  • Familiarity with tools like Zoom Webinars, event registration platforms, email marketing tools, and CRM systems
  • Experience building onboarding journeys or member education programs

How Success is Measured

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • 90 days: You’ve taken full ownership of the events calendar and daily community management; members know you by name
  • 6 months: Community engagement metrics and Law Firm Mentor’s social media presence are trending up; events run smoothly without leadership needing to step in; clients are actively using your social media guidance
  • 12 months: You’ve executed a full annual event cycle including retreats, established at least a handful of active third-party content partnerships, and both the community and your social media consulting are clear drivers of client retention and satisfaction
